by clicking on the "details" section next to the program name in program search, you get info like Program Director's name, etc.....which can be useful to confirm the accuracy of your choice.

Your ROL will have the 10 digit AAMC code like 20......hey, that's sneaky!

does the nrmp need program code or AAMC ID?sad

I just looked on the NRMP site and I can't answer that question - all my information tells me to use a candidate's AAMC number to enter my ROL.

Hey bbb,

You said: Your ROL will have the 10 digit AAMC code............ No it does not.

Below is a copy and paste from NRMP Directory for NYU, the left numbers is the Program Code (9 digits), the right numbers is the ACGME code (10 digits).

When I select a program and try to enter the ACGME code, it gets rejected, but it will accept the Program code. Am I doing something wrong?
Or do you mean the 9 digit Program code?

thats wat i hav done..i enterd the 9 digit program code not the acgme code...which is 10 digits..is that right?i'm more confused now...

What I did, I click on "magnifying looop (search)" sign next to the program code, find the program I want to rank, and click on it, so it will automatically put the correct number in the window. This way you cannot screw it up, programm does it for you automatically.
Hope it helps
smiling face

I don't know - I don't see that information from what I see on NRMP - that's the applicants side of things.

hey dane! u r confusing AAMC code (which bbb has to enter) with the ACGME code which is not relevant in ranking to either parties.
so applicants use PROGRAM CODE & the programs use AAMC

Yeah AAMC number which u get when u register with ERAS
