Hello,
I'm starting my ck prep diary to keep me motivated as I've so many things in my life going on & they keep distracting me from my goal that is to work in the US as a doctor.....huh I've my exam in 6 weeks & I just got to know that if we didn't pay the taxes for our house by september then they'll take away our house.The house that me & my husband bought from all the savings that we had & brought from our country when we came here a year back.So now I'm trying to concentrate so that I can give the exam in 6 weeks & start a job(far from a medical field) for 4 months or so so that me & my hubby's combined income can pay the taxes by sept & then also to have money to apply by the end of this year for the residency interviews.
Anyways, I won't let these big mountains come in my way of achieving my goal...so here I come my diary & I pray to God that please help me while I prep for my ck.
Today's goal is to finish reading UW explanations of Hem/Oncology + explanations of electrolytes & dermatology.

I've completed readig explanations & making notes of hem/onc & electrolytes...derm yet to do...God gi'me strength plz.
Thanks alexat for dropping by...sometimes these words of courage can give you so much strength to keep going & hangin in there ...yes, we can do it!

Today's goal:
Finish reading explanations & making notes of opth, preventive med, rheumatology & then u r done with IM....yeahhhh!!!.....start paeds!
Plz help me God to achieve this today.

Wish you all the best DrLuck. Yes you can do it. Feeling sick for the last 3 days now & Tylenol helps me a little just to keep going w/ everything that I need to do at home & w/ studies. I know this will not last long.. We can do it!
Things will be alright.. believe me.

today's goal.....finish remaining explanations of UW as I wasn't able to finish'em last night & then go to paeds 1st 50 pages of kaplan notes.
Please God let me achieve my goal for today...Amen.

weekends are always slow but I'm hanging in there...will try to do some paeds today & then uw questions.
thanx robin082006...u brightened my morning although I'm in a li'le doubt about my speed at the moment as am behind my schedule a li'le bit but thanx for dropping by & the wishes.

hi Dr Luck,i have my exam in 6weeks too,i wana join in,i am in s much dilemma,i have to finish UW ,this will be 2nd time.read kplan text .keep revising stuff,well looks very doable,but geting on my nereves and i am taking lot of breaks,but runing short of time. doing ID,did 50% hemat 30% peds,50%respi,CNS,have to finish all these,jumping into all subj,just to keep on moving,i feel ID i am doing fine.lets see ,just started with UW q's,have to finish y tomorow

thank God...the weekend passed as I always become lazy on the weekends for some reason anyways I'm back....today's goal is to do paediatrics......I hope I achieve my goal for today...I can do it, God will help!

hi Dr luck,ya i also slow down over weekend,but monday was good,i did ID form Kaplan text,not yet done,doing UW ID q's,have to finish by tonight,then tomororw morning i got to do explns' of these q's.UW is good and i am only replying on thses q's coz idon't have time,ya luckmkeep posting wht u finish each day,that's going to inspire us.

did kaplan simulated today...scored 62%....I was expecting to score a bit better than that  ...anyways...I'll keep goin & hopefully will do better than that in the real exam!!

i am doing expln's of 2nd bl of ID,trying to cover Id part of peds.tomorow i will take up peds K text, have to revise,also will conitue with peds q's.i have to finish whole revision in 2 weeks.
i am done iwth half of IM,half of Peds.lets see

did questions from uw yesterday...my scores ranged from 56%-65%....which is pretty good for someone who was scoring in low 50's....today am gonna finish rest of uw questions....HELP ME GOD...AMEN!!!
