Hi, I would be really grateful for help on this one!
I am an IMG who applied to sit Step 3 through the state of Utah. After not hearing from FSMB, I emailed to find that they were pending an ECFMG certificate which was marked "valid infinitely".
On the ECFMG website they say that those who sat Step 2CS are valid infinitely and no longer issue stickers. I called Utah Medical board who don't need the sticker but need a 282B-6/04 form.
Then I called FSMB who say they won't accept anything but the certificate with the sticker... I am going around in circles!
Anyone else had this problem? Would applying for FCVS be the answer? Do a request a form to be sent to FSMB? Should I just cancel the registration and apply for another state?
