Hey all three of them are reversible. chromatin clumping is reversible but chromatin condensation (pyknosis) is irreversible.

metaplasia and clumping are reversible. in webpath it says that displasia could be reversible but I haven't met such information in Robbins. What about goljan what he says on this?

Robbins Basic Pathology page 170 , chapter Neoplasia talks about dysplasia as follows : "Mild to moderate changes that do not involve the entire thickness of epithelium may be reversible , and with removal of the putative inciting causes, the epithelium may revert to normal."
