Why is Thomas Jefferson number 3?

I saw a list yesterday of the top 100 psych programs. TJ was #78!!!!!!!!!!

I'll try to find the list again and post the link.

Your scores and CV must be impressive to command that many interviews and I really commend your stamina to endure all those interviews, the travel and discomfort.

I hope you match at number one and no disrespect intended, but the good thing here is that you can only match to one spot. Which means nod the other 41 will have to select someone else and the rest of your list is pretttyy impressive. So, some of us might actually have a chance at some rather posh programs if there are a few more that also had mega numbers of interviews.

hi...ur a lucky person to hav such good options..i was just wondering y is thomas jefferson no.3 n sheppard pratt lower?...i wud love to be in sheppard pratt...i did an observership n i loved it...didnt get an inv tho...but i think it shud b higher on ur list but thats just my opinion..i hope u match in ur top choices...good luck!

i agree pratt is a better program than TJ but TJ is in a great location. I just liked TJ a lot and heard it was a great hospital. the call is low. the teaching in psychotherapy is great. also they have a pain and sleep clinic and other great electives. there is a good patient diversity with oppurtunities in research and teaching.

i think i know what rankings u r going by. they rank programs in terms of research dollars and/or awards. while this does give u a decent idea i dont think it is that accurate to guage a program. i noticed uc davis is rated lower than univ of mississippi in jackson yet i believe davis is a much better program.

mayo rochester didnt invite me lol like a lot of other programs. only had 48 invites. went to 44 and 2 of those dont use the match.
