On what date will we know whether we matched or not?

Is it March 12th??

Applicant matched and unmatched information posted to the Web site at 12:00 noon eastern time.

March 13, 2007
Filled and unfilled results for individual programs posted to the Web site at 11:30 am eastern time.

Locations of all unfilled positions are released at 12:00 noon eastern time. Unmatched applicants may begin contacting unfilled programs at 12:00 noon eastern time.

March 15, 2007
Match Day! Match results for applicants are posted to Web site at 1:00 pm eastern time.

March 16, 2007
Hospitals send letters of appointment to matched applicants after this date.

What is the difference o posting the match from 12th to 15th? Are they going to say only if we matched on 12th and inform where we matched on 15th? Or what is the difference? rolling eyes

March 12, 2007 - Applicant matched and unmatched information posted to the Web site at 12:00 noon eastern time. This is the day that you find out if you have a position, but not where you have your position

March 13, 2007 - Filled and unfilled results for individual programs posted to the Web site at 11:30 am eastern time. Locations of all unfilled positions are released at 12:00 noon eastern time. Unmatched applicants may begin contacting unfilled programs at 12:00 noon eastern time. This is when programs find out if they filled or didn't fill. Scramble starts at noon - but don't call unless you know if a program has openings.

March 15, 2007 - Match Day! Match results for applicants are posted to Web site at 1:00 pm eastern time. This is when everyone finds out where they are going or who they are getting.

March 16, 2007 - Hospitals send letters of appointment to matched applicants after this date. This is when programs start to send out information to the persons that matched into their program.

ANOTHER NOTE: To make things easier for your new program, if you have moved since you completed your ERAS application, please email your program coordinator with your new address as soon as possible. That way, when I have information that must be sent to you, I can send it to the correct address.

Hi, BBB, What does "March 13, 2007 - Filled and unfilled results for individual programs posted to the Web site at 11:30 am eastern time" mean?
Will we know what positions would be available at 11:30 and start the scramble at 12:00?

No, programs will know at 11:30 on that day - you find out the day before if you matched somewhere. We have 1/2 hour to prep in case we have to scramble.
