I have been a bit reluctant to start to study for this one. Hard to find motivation... but is the last one and I hope I find the strength to do it. My attack plan is to read Crush S3 & do UW. Suggestions welcome

They are not easy to find, do you think they are worth reading?

Ok... finally is over. At least that's how I feel after giving the test today. Was really hard to study for this one, with a full-time job and not enough motivation. Anyways, the test is very simillar to S2 CK. But more focus in management and diagnostics. It is well balance between speciaties, so expect everything... however, is the common things and usualy the initial management. No weird syndromes and obscure test or drugs. I only wanted to pass, so I devoted like a bit more than 2 months to study. I never really read any books, I don't think is really worthed... except por the CSS. Kind of reviewed my notes from S2, and did UW questions... that's key. You don't whant to be all knowlegable in peds, obgyn, psy... and so forth, you just need to know the key concepts, and the questions focus in what you really need to know. CSS require practice, play with the program so you get confortable with it. For this I used FA and UW cases, didn't read all of them but just enough to have an idea of what's expected. OK pretty tired now... will let you know about my results. Thanks to everybody that posted, this forum is superb... got a lot of great help since S1, and hopefully this is my trully last effort.

Thanks motorola, I din't have any video or audio questions. I don't think that is funtional yet, at least for S3. I had a couple of images derm (rashes, moles) and cxr, usually the question stem will give you a good idea of what you are dealing with. If you recently gave S2 CK, review your notes and do questions. That's suficient for this exam. Focus in what's your first treatment and long term management. One month should be pleny of time. Good luck!!! FYI xavecor is just a word I made up, I haven't gave it a meaning yet.
