A 60 yo white woman is in good health. She wants to get a flu shot because she knows the vaccine can protect her from flu. When the doctor ask her about her allergic history, she says that she had allergy to PNC, Streptomycin, Neomycin. She also says that she had allergy to many food, such as chicken, turkey, egg, and some seafood. The doctor afraids to give her a flu shot because she is allergic to:

why not give her live attenuated vaccine which is available intranasal......

any one answer?

I guess the live attenuated vaccine isn't a community-safe option.. In addition, the Pt isn't in a risk for any serious complications if gets the flu...
