dear all
I took diagnostic exam in kaplan centre,I got %69 ,my internal and ped was above %85 but surgery,obs/gyn and pschy was about %50-60.
I have not started studing for step 2 ,how much importand is dignostic exam for evaluation?regarding to this score,can I take the exam in july for score above 90?

hey man there is no relation between diagnostic exam and real exam,you should prepare for 3-4 months for ck,thats enough and do UW that is more difficult than real exam if u get more than 65 % correct inUW you will definately get above 90

I havent heard of any correlation between kaplan diagnostic exam and real exam....the only correlation is with UW and NBME's. I toke the diagnostic also before starting to study.....and they dont giving that much info....only thing kaplan says is 65 is equivolent to just passing. Good luck studying.
