You passed all your steps and you are doing your Residency in NY hospital in . A 50 yo woman come in the ER because of shortness of breath .Her has a RR of 32 x " , BP 140/ 90 Temp : 37.0 She also have a gallop and a murmur at the apex . Further exam shows maked jugular distention and bilateral rales to the apices . Her abodmen is soft and non tender and you also find edema in her extremities .

What drug would increase mortality in this patient .

a ) carvedilol

b ) captopril

c ) spirinolactone

d ) hydralazine

f ) amrinone

g ) milrinone

h ) hydroclorothiazide

i ) digoxin

k ) digitoxin

The choice is amrinone not amiodarane.
I guess it is d- hydralazine.

I read somewhere aminodarone and digoxin increase mortality of CHF.

There is no amonodarone in this question, so I go with Digoxin
