Hi Friends,
I had my exam on Tuesday, 6th of february. When can I expect mt result? Also I've heard a lot of the red screen on ur oasis..does that mean u've cleared?
if u're med college hasn't verified ur documents..do they still let u know the result?
I guess I'm just worrying but pls do let me know.

Hey dr_ecv,
Usually people get their results in 4 weeks time.
"I would like to ask a question to you regarding the new pattern of usmle exam since january2007. all the recent exam takers are complaining that they have gone through a very tough exam coz the questions are absolutely out of the format we were accustemed to. i mean studying kaplan is not enough now to be prepared for the 1st step. in fact the questions asked seem to be out of course."
Is it correct?
What are your experiences and suggestions about the exam?

Hi neuro..
u can see my exam experience in the experiences section..headed..my exam experience 6th february..and yes i had tough exam.lots of weird immunology..molecular biology and long pathophys qs with whole load of lab values and diagrams. I have written details for the individual subject s so that everyone can takea look at that in my experience. My exam was tougher than the q bank. Fpo patho i had gone thru BRS and Goljan audios..but I think in reterospect going thru the Goljan notes wd be better than that. Pls feel free to ask anything else.
