thanks for writing ngt

i need to understand how the programs submit their rank list.for example if one program has 30 seats how many names they will submit

one of the program told me that they will put me in rnk list but i will have to compete with AMG'S

What does this mean

Thanks

check this:

http://www.nrmp.org/res_match/about_res/impact.ht...

AVERAGE ranks PER position: 9.74

In average one program will list more than 9 applicants per position.
Of course....different program will have different policies....no generalization!

1. Different programs will put down different numbers - it's not a question that anyone can answer.

2. It means that you will be on the rank list along with AMG's.
