you will need your medical school degree, and inform your college to provide ecfmg with your medical school trascripts when ecfmg asks your medical school.after applying online u will be asked to print certain forms u will also send ecfmg a copy of your medical school degree(diploma).but medical school trascripts will be sent by your medical school to ecfmg.

i applied sometime back so i am not to sure if there has been any change.I sent my medical degree with an extra photo, forms for verification of medical degree (2 of them)and the form which they ask u to notarize at the end of application.i also sent them my clerkship which again is optional but if u have it just send that also.no harm in sending somethng extra. All of what they require is mentioned in the last part of application once u pay the money. They in turn send one of those forms wiith ur degree to college for verification and ur coll has to send that along with ur transcript back to them

now this verification part can be done anytime, its not required for u to take the exam but only for final ecfmg certification. u could in the meantime get ur transcripts ready and once they send ur docs to ur coll the ecfmg will inform u.I would recommend that u go to ur coll and see to it that processing begins as in most indian colleges the clerks dont do anythng unless u are after them.Get the verification stuff done as early as posiible so that u dont have to worry later on during ecfmg certification.hope this helps
