What is the treatment for TTP and HUS which we should know for Step 2? I have seen different things listed in different texts... Could anyone please clarify the proper protocol/management/treatment? Thanks.

Not sure about TTP but for HUS isn't the best treatment plasmaphresis

Plasmapheresis for TTP And Antibiotics contraindicated in HUS.. Anything else?? Kaplan notes doesn't mention anything for these two...

PLASMAPHARESIS is the ttt for TTP for HUS ttt is supportive , some times dialysis needed , i will post u q in q bank for that
