I'm trying to register for step 3 but I can't find any State that allows an IMG with no residency training to take it. How can I do? where can I apply?

all ths States have 1 to 3 years postgraduate training requirements. Even CT where people here are applying requires 2 years postgraduate training. Where can I apply? and suppose I can apply in CT, how do I get all the info about step 3 there?

Log on www.fsmb.org. Choose "Step 3 home" from link on the left. You can register online and CT is the state you can take Step 3 without prevoius GME training. After you regiter online, you should send CID Form that you can print it out after complete payment or you can get it from Form Link.

You have to have your CID stamped by a notary public. Banks and some hospitals do it with $10-20 or without any charges.

5 business days after people in TX receive your CID, they email you and give you the Scheduling permit number.

You will call the prometric center 1-800-619-5227 and schedule the date.

The exam fee for CT is $655.00.

Good Luck!
