i'm sure this has been debated a lot of times already. but since everyone is getting prematch, which is actually advantageous?
if you plan to immigrate eventually? is h1 better?
for fellowships. are you limited when you are on j1 visa? since fewer fellowship programs offer h1?

J1 = less hassle for hospital, fellowship opportunities better, no immigration, spouse can work on J2
H1 = less hassle for applicant unless u are paying the cost, less fellowhip opportunities ( not necessarily bad), immigration certain, spouse cannot work on H4.
