I have studied for a 3.5 months now. Finished kaplan twice, usmleworld downloaded version once, kaplan qbook , then took nbme form 2 in mid december scored 440. I postponed and worked on my weak areas and took nbme 3 in first week of jan, scored 460 in which i improved on my weak areas but performance dropped in others,i postponed again. After that i started revising usmleworld (which im have way done) and topics from kaplan notes though not page to page but chapter wise just the important topics. Along with that i was also revising firstaid but still no new questions. Then people told me i should be doing more questions, so i took kaplan qbank ten days ago, started pretty good with 80-85 but dropped to 67-70. Along with that i also am half way done with kaplan IM questions( downloaded version though it lacked CVS so i did CVS from pretest). i was also reading secrets here and there and Dr. conrad's practice question( just a little). Now i was supposed to take my exam next week and NBME 1 tomorrow but just cant find energy. What if i dont get good score in NBME ...there will be nothing left. I want to know how to work from here. Although everyone should aim high, with the responsibilities i have, i will be content with anything around 92-95% (My step 1 score was 92%.) How should i use my time suppose if i have two weeks from now. Is there any other practice questions worth doing? Or should i just revise kaplan again? Should i do pretest complete series or mock? I dont know im just so confused. These are days of hell. Please all those who have taken this exam Help me.

hi i worked with pretest for step 1, and i liked them; you do not have time to do all of them, but the exam i believe will worth; i know i will do it if you have kapan highlights video, is worthing watching if you are so close to exam put accent on review, especially FA i have a program with questions, which is verry good; it will help you if you haven't already done yet i want to ask you something, so please email me, to dannyyro@yahoo.com

Your own notes and FA Sarika. I read FA and my own notes only and scored 490 NBME1, I realized that FA covers over 80% of USMLE World. And of course do 50 questions/day to practice time management.

Did you do notes for UW. Revise UW again & same time w/ FA!! Be confident! You'll do great again!! Don't start any new materials as of now! Good luck!
