is that handwritten letter gives a good impression , i m not sure abt the culture in US , i heard handwritten letter is considered as a more personal and gives a good impression.is that so?and do u receive handwritten letters?

Yes, I receive handwritten letters. Use them only if the PD will be able to read your handwriting.
Use the computer, write a nice letter, personalize it for each program. Sign it and mail. No big deal.
But if you do handwrite, don't write a poem like one person did this year. Scarey.

hi bbb,i've never posted u any ques,mainly cos i am still in d process of studyin for my exams ,and not applyin yet,but i just couldnt resist when i saw molly's pix,she's so cute with her cap,but what really made me smile is that she looked puzzled/scared of the camera,the look on her face is just a winning one

I don't know if it's true but heard from a significant amount of people that Psych PD's like written thank-you cards, but IM PD's don't mind thank-you emails..take your pic, but do thank them!
