but why would be tell others that he is making plan for a successful attempt next time

as far as i know...previous attempt is the biggest risk factor and overrules evrthing else...... :?:

choices do not mention previous history. question is about future risk, so unless he makes a plan before overdose ,just overdosing will not suggest that he is suicidal.
