hey congrats i would like to ask u a lot of qs well firs of all do u need ure step ck knowledge to take this exam , 2nd is the name of the patient written on the door or they tell u before the exam as ure suppose to call the patient by his surname rite , one
more qs which sources did u use for ure exam i have one month to prepare for it

sorry for replying late numita, loged back in today after a long time.here are the answers to ur questions.
-it's good to have ck knowledge before cs, but it really doesnot make a huge difference , u will be similarly comfortable even if cs is ur first exam in the usmle marathon.
-patients name is given in the doorway information,yes it's nice to call patient by his last name.
-as for the mterial i used cs FA, and a few cases from uw. and a month is a pretty good amount of time to prepare for cs, i am sure by now u must be very confident about ur prep.

hey congratulation, i have a question
how do we check before we get our result that we have passed,
what do you mean that you saw red.
one more thing, i forgot to summarize my history before leaving the room , , did this with only 2-3 pts, would i pass...

but i did counseling about smoking and contraceptives in almost every pt where needed .also talked about probable diagnosis in 7-8 pts, but i did not summarize my history,

u did good zainee.important stuff is to take good history and and physical and counsel, u will be fine don worry.
do the oasis trick on ur expected score reporting day.
i-e, check ur oasis, if it has been updated then try applying for cs again, if u have passed then next screen will appear in red ink stating that u have already passed ur cs and cannot apply again.
that's why it is always a blessing to see red.
