Hey Shwe,
No I did not do Post grad in Pediatrics.I work as a Medical asst in a peds clinic & I just love working with kids.And I pray & hope that I become a Peadiatrician  in the near future.
I just think I am too lazy & scared.Don't want to commit to the exam.The thought of having to sit & read continuously makes me find excuses not to read. I just can't seem to focus like I used to during my college days.All I want to do is play with my son or sleep.I know if I was determined, work,kid,hubby,household chores would not stop me from attaining my goals.But   NOpe ,I just never learn my lesson.I still keep procrastinating.My dear friends I sincerely need ur help.This is my third time around.I love this profession,I want to be a Pediatrician.Help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, read your call for help at Ed site ,so reply at your site 2 reply already, check it out , will pm you too.
Ped are innocent , fun to go with . Keep the dream alive & makes it come through .
If work is med related even better, free time,. read the med journal there .
Also imagine working there is also learning clinical, if in USA is part of USCE you get , also for your LOR .
Now we have 3 ped in house , me, you & another sis .
Lets work it up together .

Hmm , would be better than OK if win the jackpot lotto , so me & hubby both can stop working , study side by side at our dream kaplan institude, retreat, live, center nonstop continuous , intense training that will accelarate our prep, push us to get pass all exm in no time with flying color .
Just anothher dream within MD dream sis , another dream.

  , welcome, thanks for visit here.
It's a long story, short shwe name got loss with not able to lock back in for high time net surf here, for good long few more days, so I creat long shwe to be able to not getting withdraw syndrome.
Shwe is shwe , both the same & , one person with 2 name by not choice, by hmm what to say . So to not confuse use after new shwe with long name as ShweHope been establish, then long after almost forget, old shwe with sweet short name been able to log in agian .Thanks to the p4u admin not given up .
So I use old shew abit to not let it die, but not to confuse friends , members I use old short shwe mainly here.
But sometimes, forget , not check, which shwe I am log in then post reply.
My bad Yuna , my bad .
Hornor to have Yuna's innocent, sincere, pure, serinity with high hope, expectation, looking forward eyes, face , good will beautiful cool hair style Yuna avatar face here .

yes its 10.37pm here,and as usual last visit to journal..
well shwe MMRS is good book and i did that plus tables and last pages maps from kaplan thats it but did in two halves..1/2 during 1st roundand 2nd half 3rd round so see missed in 2nd round of study..thats why i feel i am weak in it
in general--u read MMRS but im sure,will forget most if dont revise those tables and maps plus i think bugs genetics good in MMRS..book is tiem consuming but if raed like novel u will finsih soon,but it makes bugs easier to understand for our sake and for exam sake hopefully as well(yet to discover that )
and qbanks--hmm u r right there are too many ahrd to decide..all are good but if time,constrain thn definately only approved ones i mean UW plus Kqbank(altho BSS i m very fond of,its too much time taking and till today i could not even finish basics part of it,sad) but these 2 banks should suffice i guess..edie,medoc ur input plzz,will appreciate

Thanks KG, it's more than OK, the more the merrier, let's hear ... re MMRS , & Q banks which are a must, good .. like UW, Kap Q bank, BSS etc, in terms of to score high , also pass for sure .
So in that case might have to pick up MMRS by time I'm at micro , at book store, cause I cannot read on e book, not helping me reading on pc.
But how about Levison [ late Jawartz ] micro & immuno.. from A+L as exm & board review , the thinner micro , but thicker than MMRS .
EDDDD , you have read both or just Leveson one .
Anyone .....pl give input of..... micro & Qs , since we're at that discussion.

U r welcome shwe!!i have done what i have told u..nothing else for micro and dont want to do any other unless someone strongly recommends b/c questiosn are easily doen by just those tables and MMRS but have not tried UW for micro so lets ee..but before i do,edie must ahve already analysed,lets get her OP..!!now gotta go..see ya tomorrow..goodnite here,but good day to u,shwe!!!

Dear Journal, the following is , just the post I post at s4 99 , but I like to remind self when ever I feel abit down , that cannot study guilt try to sneak in.

s4 99, 3 pages a day is better than nothing. My mom used to tell me read daily , regularly, even 1 or 2 pages done, by time I was so busy with small child, then work, work work long hr, FT .
I could not do the even 1 to 2 page aday study by that time, since need alot of time, energy , focus, concentration for that particular situation , time other than the studying for ages, yrs & study again then same reason, circumstances as b4 child, work , work , so got no chance to even peek the book for yrs again . I dance with that then as soon as I could I pick up the books again , everytime .
Those pay off, now I am at restart new read , but has already alot , ready to read notes in my kap lN with all high light already .This is what my mom meant study even 1 or 2 page aday or if cannot work work work to find money then study after .
GL s 4 99, hope this post help your mood to study, not feel quilt of not study or 3 page of study .
I might c/p this in my journal to remindself to study & to honor my mom , still young at heart & active, she supporting me morally, socially all my life since I was a baby & still do. Not to mentined big money we spent for our school, social, texts of medicine etc. & the fashion , clothing & good environment , good food , snacks, cold healthy drinks for our friends studying home for med exm every yr , loudly noisy

In memory of my old good study time in med yrs, that is happening here with all good friends at here, we all still make noise , chat, talk, argue, agree, disagree, but still big loving, caring family here, supportinh each other , motivating, inspiring to get the study, finsh the exm with high score.

This is 2nd post to remind self so I try to post here after I did for at other's jourbal, this time is at NB 's journal, hope she does not mind.
It is the post I should remind self to not repeat , get into same mistake cycle of not to use, study the any productive good study day .. as much as possible, even I have done coda of study of pages ,Qs, topics, etc for the days or even foer a week , a mo. , i do not care.
I SHOULD STUDY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, THE MOST THAT I CAN EVEN I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THE CODA OF MY STUDY PAGES, QS, TOPICS, DVD, LN FOR THE DAY, PEROID.

study the most on any productive day as much as you can , never stop cause you have accomplished your day of coda pages or topics.
You never know what is the next day, will be good or bad day .
MT already said that, just like to emphasize more.
I did big mistake, BIg BIG BIg mistake as papi said, study by coda , pages, topics, then winter cold, flu for me & son , then summer guests etc othe unavoidable, beyound your control happens, then you loose alot of days & have try to catch up really hard in already tight schedule daily life , cause , I did not use my most productive days at the start since I've been too soft onself by saying, I have study all coda for the day .... so since winter I need more rests etc.
NB , GL, be strong , keep it consistant too even after few days or more lack of study days , always come back to books asap when you can .
Gl , have a good FRiday, week-end too

Hi Shwe, how are you today? Regarding micro, yes, I covered it with Levinson, primarily. Had good micro in school, so not intense study for me, and FA helps, also. I like Lev for the immuno section more, though. The MRS however, is probably the best shot for micro because of the drawings and charts and silly memory aids. I will probably take it up for viruses, am weaker in virology than bacteriology and the others.

I am also v. lucky to have best micro prof in med school. Who said micro is boring, if you've ever been her student . So much fun & disciplin too.
