hi,

I got interview at UCSF Fresno Family medicine. They told me about their Three pathways in different places. Per example they have a pathway in a rural center mostly dealing with delivery and OBGYN .Does this mean if I choose this pathway to go I will know how to deliver babies and not know anything about Internal medicine and Pediatrics. Does anyone have any idea about this program and these pathways. Please help I am very confused.

if they said mostly dealing with OB, it means you will have special focus on OB. it says nothing about the rest. During your interview, you have to enquire about the patient population. Is it large and varied? do you deal with hypertension, diabetes, MI, hyperthyroidism, hepatitis, AIDS, etc. etc. I mean every interview's questions regarding patients and diseases you will deal with.

Hi,
Congratulation for getting interview.

Have run into this web & all their programs are great, a lot of training, teaching to you & you can teach too. But just looking, reading web is not telling that much though. If have someone in program as resident, do ask them, share the experince here please.
Also it is very warm weather there.

But on web., no detail info re; reuirement ...IMG, marks/ score, grad yr, should be CA resident/ live in there etc cut off.
Could you pl. share ?

Thanks a millions.

GL to your interview.

Re; their 3 streams, read their web, choose what you like to do more, if you could. If not , like the place, program go for it. CA is place hard to get residency, not even interview too.
Do you need the st 3 of CA pass to apply there or get the interview?
