Hi friends I am a newby in this forum. I just wanted to know for an IMG who has 3 yrs of UK experience in medicine to get into a decent program in a university affiliated hospital at least, what should be the minimum scores plz....?? I am working currently in the UK trying to take USMLE. What should be the minimum scores in step 1 ,2.

If some of you can answer my question it would be helpful..

I am trying for the best scores but at the end of the day if I end up scoring something like what I was expecting I should be knowing where I stand ?If I get anywhere in US in uni affiliated hospital in int medicine?/

Thank you very much..

Ya you can get in decent program b,cos you have UKCE. Good luck

why score 80s and then take a gamble....there is only 1 answer for what scores are needed for anything: the "bestest" ya can get!

lifeinthefastlane x100. Ukce is definite asset. aim for highest possible. with high 80's you might match but next year u might see flooding as the flood gates (visas) have been relaxed.

and if any program will do like interfaith or st barnabas then any score is good with your ukce.
