Hello everybody,
Is it possible that some programs dont update their final number of positions available for the match. Or is it mandatory for them to reveal this stuff. One of the places I interviewed said they offer prematches in Jan. But now, when I see their remaining positions it still says 10 which is the total number of positions. Can anybody shed some light on this issue?? bbb any ideas??

As far as I know the programs must submit the number of positions for match by JAN 31, 11.59 EST.

so u didnt take the prematch?

Apurva,
I did not get any prematch, and to top it one of the programs I interviewed at withdrew from the match, they gave out all their positions in prematches. So I am practically left with 10 positions all together. I will be around here next year too.
