i found a q in kaplan simulated for use of aspirin in post MI for a pt with history of PUD
and the answer is to give aspirin even without doing endoscopy
IS THAT TRUE

What do u think drs

Not 100% sure but I think you can give it because the reduction in mortality from giving aspirin will probably outweigh the risks from a bleeding peptic ulcer. Did the case give any indication that the ulcer was bleeding? If it wasn't I think aspirin can be given

the thing is not even endoscopy for that ulcer history ,what if was bleeding still i will give aspirin to post mi , donot simply say yes or no
tell me why
