Today is the first step towards step3 prep, After buying crush step 3 from Amazon.com, I took my first step. Nothing is impossible, though I had put a lot of effort into Step 2 prep, exam was truly horrible & my score is 90, score isnt disheartening as exam was very tough, but I had studied with 99 as an aim, but nobody can get more than whats destined!!! so this time I'm prepared for the worst. I have heard Step 3 is a very tough exam.

I aim to do good in step 3. Atleast I will give my best, score depends on lots of other factors, ur persistence, ability to stay calm & luck. Besides Luck I'm gonna practice upon rest everything.

First things first, I will begin a quick reading of kaplan notes since I havnt received crush step 3 yet & it takes times for amazon to ship. I'm really weak in pediatrics so will begin with that. Will jot down imp points today & will try to remember them. I know I can do it, just some effort is required.cool

priyagrove,
When is ur exam?

Read Step 2 notes and skimmed through Crush Step 3 and First Aid. But my UW score is disappointing, 54%. I want to at least score 200+ in the exam.

hi! well, u r not alone!! i too aimed a high 90 in CK , and landed with a 90. but as long as the figure begins with a 9, i think it should be fine smiling face

i hv started preparing for step 3, but my prep is in utter chaos!! would u please give me a few tips abt which books to consider the main ones and which to use as reference books.. i have crush and first aid...do u think reviewing the CK books first would be the right approach? all subjects or only medicine?

RIGHT NOW i'VE JUST BEGUN bUT WHAT i GOT TO KNOW FROM OTHER FORUM MEMBERS IS

crush and qs. best way to go about it. do as many as u can. qbank, qbook, usmleworld.

dont do swansons. do 2-3 reading of crush.

concentrate on ur ccs...

my plan is to do Crush the boards. step3

then all the questions of UW Q bank & Q book.

I just took step2 so I dont plan to study the text books again, will use them as a reference book.

I'm not touching Kaplan Step3 notes as I heard they aren't upto the mark
