To all the match applicants:
Last year I had one of the hardest days of my life, when I checked my email and I did not match. I am a FMG 5 years out of med school with 2 attempts at step 1, after I did not match I thought all was lost. For this year thanks to my wife, I gave my all, put in my time in an observership and applied to as many programs as possible. After 7 interviews I was offered a prematch position, and although at first it was a hard decision to make, it became clear that it was the right thing to do. My message is it can be done with hard work and faith so don't give up, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you out there that are fighting for this dream.
