Hey Robin..a q..how good is FA for step 2? since u have done FA thrice already, U can give a sincere opinion..I havent done my step 1 as yet and i have heard that FA is A MUST FOR STEP 1 unlike STEP 2..BUT you seem to be doing it at a regular basis..I read OB from FA yday ,after revising ob gyne from Kaplan, and to tell u the truth I dint find it gr8, and there were'nt any extra info in FA ,which kaplan or UW didnt provide, so i was thinking wether or not i shld be spending a lot of time reading FA for all other subjects, coz my exam is in the end of this month..
Or do u think, there are particular topics that is really worth reading from FA?

Thanks and GLwink

If you master FA, you can answer 80% UW qs.

I realized that FA is written based on both UW and Kaplan.

Good chapter: Emergency, Rapid review, OB

Good luck

Qbook, I think that it is very hard to finish Kap qbank in 2 weeks unless you do qs only without read explanations.

today:

read 50Qs explaination from last night Qbank with FA
reviewed 75 Qs from UW along with FA

Need speed up, I am too slow.

  #135

This morning I read lots of posts in which people said they are matched.

This inspired me so much.

I did 1 Ped UW block and scored 93%.

No read explanations

Did another Ped block, scored 80%

Then did the left 26 ped qs, scored 81%.

Cannot score 100% although this is second try, first try uses off-line version.

50Qs Qbank + FA note
100Qs UW review+ FA note

My notes are shorter lately because I need to hurry up.

Try to go over another 50Qs tonight.

BTW, I need to thank Robin for asking me to post my progression too. I feel more "pressure" to try to reach my goal everyday. It is a positive one!

Last week when I was very low, my boss sent this to me. "Caterpillar who stays in cocoon will never become butterfly" Just want to share this with everyone.

Yes, I finished it when did the first time.

This time reads explanations for incorrect answers only and some high yields.
