Apsoloutly.pass the exam ,be certified , you can get a residency.work on your CV, you can even get a residency even this year.

there is always chance to get into residency. Do volunteer work in research or observership in an institution with a residency program. Through those works you can make connection to those in residency committee. If they like you...they will invite you to interview...and may be take you for residency.

If you applied this year, don't forget scramble.
If you won't get matched, for the next year, finish all your exam with result before ERAS opening and apply wisely.
