I will be really thankful to people who help me on this..i have done my radiology rasidency frm india & now willing to try fellowship in us..i need to know if its possible to get board certified without doing residency in US..have heard that if one does four years of fellowships at one place...one gets eligible for board certification ...& hence can practice radiology in US???

Refer to the American Board Of radiology website and go to the IMG section. Rules are explained there. If you do Fellowships for 4 years/Fellowship+ faculty position combined for 4 years you are eligible to appear for Boards.

First u'll need to be accepted into a Fellowship then u'll have to work your way into a faculty post. Not easy at all. The other option is to try for a residency where u have a curriculum and will surely give the Boards at some point of time.
