Hello to all, I finished me step 2 CK 3 days ago and now i'm looking forward to pass the CS but I would like to now if i have to wait for my scheduling permit to arrive by mail so I can be able to apply for visa, or it's an online scheduling permit as in the step 2 CK.

i took cs last year and once u paid the money u got an online scheduling permit via email which u could print out.once u get that u can pick ur date and just print the exam confirmation.Also if u checked the box which says letter for visa while filling the form ,they send that to u also by post which days that u have an ecfmg exam in the u.s.Althouh the scheduling permit and exam confirmation are sufficient to take for ur visa.
u can apply for the tourist visa anytime but just make sure u have taken a date bfore u go for the interview as that date confirmation letter will be a good document to take for the visa

whether it is sufficent or not...it depends on the embassy in ur country..and the officer who wil IV u
i suggest that u wait for the visa letter.....the will send it sooon
