1997 grad from Ukraine (Eastern Europe), Steps 1, 2 scores 183, 192, Green card holder, RN, ICU-CCU-CVICU experience (central lines, vents, ACLS certified etc.). LORs from USA MDs, publications through ASH (American Society of Hypertension) in 1999, 2001, received monetary Travel Grants from ASH to present those 2 posters. Will the above facts overcome low USMLE scores for IM residency at any US Hospital? Thank you, Good luck.

Not at any hospital (I would say not at the most competitive ones), but I am sure you'll have a residency opportunity if you knock on the right doors. Research well, check the minimum score pass/years after graduation requirements, and go for it. Once you have an interview, you'll have the chance to make up for your scores. You are not a walking number, but an experienced professional. I would be optimist. Good luck!
