Anybody can explain? Tx.

g15N-labeled glutamine is fed to an experimental animal. Following
a period of several days, the animal is sacrificed and total nucleic
acids are isolated. The nucleic acids are subjected to alkaline
hydrolysis, and the resulting nucleoside monophosphates are separated.
If a sample of adenosine monophosphate obtained in this manner were
