my q bank score is 50% and my exam in next month .i have only 1 month left.how can i improve score in my real exam?

Again, u have to see whats wrong with the other 50 % u missed, are they focused on some areas ur weak in , or did u miss many concepts through out ur study ?....i guess it would have been much wiser to use the q bank earlier as recommended by most ppl, to keep up with the imp points during prep, as it draws ur attention to things that might just be skipped...so it depends on ur analysis of the mistakes in the q bank..are they subject based...u need to go this area once more...define the problem in ur score to be able to work with it

p.s. if u really feel like u missed a lot ..plz do not hesitate to extend ur exam period

Hi this is my second read. I did Patho months ago and now I am reading it again but doing mcqs randomly from Q bank. So its kinda first read mcqs coming around 45% what should I do to improve it?

Hey OLD look who's advising u...good old me. Whatever topics u are missing or near missing. Open the books and read again, quickly....then when u are done do the qs. again and see what's up? Repeat till u get them over 90% right. Trick picked from ASKDOC.
MONA darling sorry about that..I have a friend by that name and that's how I call her teasingly..same advice for u and in fact that's what DELMAR is trying to say...check what's wrong with that 50%. And yes....a month may not raise ur score high enough unless u are a genious so u might just have to postpone ur dates but most imp. no panic better prep and more time is the solution to ur problem...Don't go into the test without at least getting in late 80ies. u bpth saying right.bcz people advised me dont do q bank untill 2nd reading.now in end i start comparing mcqs with real books and first aid and i realized that i left important basic thing to remeber.
i m due in july and i cant change my exam date.
pray for me.

lol, but u said in ur first post that u have 1 month only !!
that means ur due feb 2007??? or is it the local time variations
anyway of u have till july probably ur doing the right thing..u identified ur weak and missed concepts go for them and re practice

Delmar ,my exam date is feb 28 and the thing i am talking about was my pregnancy due date.
feb 28 is the last day of my eligibility period.

Mona I had a almost similar problem only thing was that i was in my 1st trimester and carrying a threatened so with exam in 3 weeks and me on drugs..I started scoring terribly and we decided that i had to forget the exam since cudn't postpone anymore.
PLEASE do post-pone and decide what to do later keep studying and do not take the test if u don't start scoring better. Good luck with the baby...ur entire point of view is going to soon change Keep in touch!
