A 21-year old man presents with a recent suicide attempt.you are asked to asscess him in the emergency room.which one of the following statements concering the suicide assessement of this patient is true
1) discussing suicide with persons suspected of feeling suisidal may increase their risk of suicide.
2) persons with a recent suicide attempt are at less risk for eventually killing themselves
3) depressed persons who commit suiside can do so as they begin to improve
4) persons with schizophrenia are at less risk for suicide
5) persons with schizophrenia do not usually communicate their intentions

Depressed people who commit suicide can do so as they began to improve...
Suicidal thoughts are still present and the patients symptoms (like fatigue) are improving, so the patient gains the strength to actually carry through the suicide...
