OK, done with ped. Loved the lectures. Starting surgery today.

  #52

Well I got a 45 and 58 in UW. It helps me as much as an 80 'cause it pushes me and makes me more cautious.
Done with trauma section. Lectures were so boring to start with but the content was quite good for me. Surgery being my weakest, I'll listen at least to trauma lectures.

I have to move onto my plan B. Just had a look at CS format and a CD. I don't want to take a risk by doing it in 20 days of 5 hrs work. Postponed CK to june 30th. Starting CS plus 2 hours CK work form tomorrow.

  #61

Got first aid CS. 1 block uw 76%

  #62

First aid CS. i block UW 69%

  #63

2 blocks UW 55% and 65%. FA CS halfway.
Plan for weekend: Finish FA CS and do 5 blocks UW. I start 2nd round of UW monday.

  #64

Just started second round UW. Only go through marked Qs since I only have few more days for my subscription.
Already practiced 6 cases of CS. Still trying to figure out the best style for me.

  #65

More CS than CK and looking for closer dates for CS. Second round of UW - UW finally feels easy.

  #66

Still looking for closer dates CS. Finished 18 cases CS. Subscribed to UW CS.

  #67

Preparing for CK and CS at the same time is not the best thing. But I need my scores by the end of August and has no other option.

  #68

WELLdone dinie u are encouraged.Just coming on board for ck.Need to prepare as fast as i can.would appreciate suggestions.I dont think you work from what i have read. u can do more ,so move on.

Its been awhile. Thanks Eddy for dropping by. Ofcourse, I don't work and I really have enough time if I manage my time well. Been busy calling all the hospitals and meeting people to find a clinical observership before my CS since I haven't seen the American setting. I was thinking of recommendation letters too. Finally found not 1 but 3nod Started 2 days back. After 1 week I'll stop for CK and may be start in July. Feel more settled now.

  #70

All right. Finished my first week observership. Its fulltime 8am to 6pm. Great experience for me. Made several good contacts too.I'm back for CK and CS.
