can we say to the program that i m ranking them number 1??i asked my friends and several others said it is not a violation of match cause i didnt ask them where they r ranking me , but as a program coordinator may i know your opinion , cause when i said this the PC immediately changed her voice and said thanks for calling and wanted to keep the phone down.....

I think they hear a lot of candidates saying that. So I dont know how it will help.

thanks bbb,but when i said this to the PC ,her voice changed and she said thanks for calling and kept the phone , next day the faculty member called up to say by calling it decreases the chances ,anyway,thanks for clearing the doubt.....

Calling has never decreased chances in my program. It's another "different programs, different answer" question.

baseball: how many programs had this kind of reaction to you? if your sincere with your intentions, and you really like the program then it's a surprise that programs will react that way.
