1. do u risk it all on one turn of pitch and toss, lose it all and start again at the beginning and never breathe a word about ur loss? 2. a man who risks nothing, loses nothing, gains nothing, is nothing take ur picK impossible to say. how ur other iviews went. do u have good indicators from ur top programs? gl

Dear Apurva, How does one know wheter one has done an IV well. 1.If they acknowledge our thank you letters 2.if you answer all the questions's well 3.If they say so 4.If they invite us bac for an 2nd look .........If we request a 2nd look how does that influence our selection process.does it make a difference.....I had only 5 IV and I feel i bombed each one of them ...my prog of 1st choice I was asked clinical q's could answer only half of them bcase I bcame nervous...basically thats my weakness and it showed in all my IV's . Pls advise WR

Tough question... there are several ways to get some feedback about your possibilities, a friend in the hospital, on 2nd views, through email... But certainly most of the time you can't be sure about it, so you must assess your progress very often...

Call the program and ask them that if you were to go through the match would they rank you at the very top.if they give you a clear answer on that (speak to the PD) then it wouldnt be such a Kipling conundrum.Wotsays Apurva?

jee - i never trust the feedback. bcoz i dont expect the programs to trust my feedback. but yes callin and askin b4 takin the final decison is a very good choice. its only gut feeling. see the candidates in the prog. if ur as qualified as them and have done decent iview and good fup - u shud be in good shape. rabbit - i feel as if i bombed all my big iviews. so dont worry u have company. relax - im sure u did well. in hindsight we always feel that we did bad bcoz we selectively remember only the bad incidents. like that mcq out of a block of 50 u didnt feel good about.. being called for a 2nd look is a very good sign. but some progs extend it to all. some progs as a rule dont reply to ur tu email.. bottom line u cant game the system. i wish they made "saw 4" based on the match apurva
