A 35 year old woman is brought to the emergency department in severe distress. she has had the"flu" for 3 days.past history reveals a 6 month history of fatigue and malaise.physical exam reveals BP120/65mm Hg supine,90/58mm Hg standing,and darkened areas of skin on the knuckles,creases of the palm,elbows and on an abdominal scar.laboratory values are Na 122mmol/L.,K 5.8 mmol/L,Cl 95mmol/L,CO2 18 mml/L.which one of the following laboratory tests is most likely to assist in confirming your diagnosis?
1)FSH AND LH
2)24 hour urine metanephrines and vanillylmundelic acid(VMA)
3) plasma catecholamines,total and fractionated
4)plasma cortisol and adrenocorticotrophic hormone(ACTH)
5)plasma 17OH progesteron

Hypoaldosteronism or Addison`s dis , do cortisol level which may be decrease and ACTH which might be increased..option 4
