I've been using it for biochem and it's pretty good so far. He starts off from the basics which is why I'm liking it. I haven't needed to use other books to understand what he's saying. If you feel kaplan videos are easy then you don't need GSA. If you feel you are lost, then I will suggest go through them, maybe take notes.
Finally, you should use whatever material helps you grasp the subject better. Everyone is not at the same level of understanding so some people only need FA to do well while others need to go back to the main textbooks. Sometimes, it takes trial and error to figure out what's the best study method for you.
