An infant presents to your clinic with a history of recurrent fungal infections and tetany on physical examination. A laboratory workup reveals a low T-cell count and hypocalcemia as the etiologic factors of the child's presentation. Aberrant development of which of the branchial pouches best explains this patient's findings? A. First pouch B. Second pouch C. Third pouch D. Fifth pouch E. Sixth pouch

TommyK's HY concepts are a batch of highly tested concepts that have been put together in both a .doc file and a tutor mode. It's available at http://www.usmle.ca/ I have printed them out and read them in free time. Found it useful to reinforce concepts but not vital. Be careful: there some mistakes in some explanations (for instance in one he was saying that orlistat is statin which is not because it is lipase inhibitor etc)
