this is a relatively easy question, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew the answer. 41 year old with diarrhea , weightloss and epigastric discomfor undergoes and endscopic exam revealing diffusely thickened rugal folds resembling linitis plastica type of adenocarconoma. The biopsy reveals no cancer but a dramatic hyperplasia of the superficial mucous cells with scant gastric glands. As a consequence of this man will be losing excessive amounts of what ? A carbohydrate B Chloride C fat D protein E water
