hello every one,
i am andi, i am an img. i am going to take the usmle step 2 in 6 weeks time. i was planning to subscribe to one of the online question banks. i have read many people's posts about kaplan's qbank. i want to ask if anyone has used the usmleworld qbank and if it is good. at the site they say it is harder than the others.
could someone please tell me if it is useful ? or should i just do with the kaplan qbank?

USMLE WORLDS QBANK IS NOT AS GOOD AS KAPLAN BUT THEY ARE BETTER THAN THE REST. I HEARD THEY ARE ADDING NEW QUESTIONS EVERYDAY BUT ONE PROPLEM THOUGH.... THEY DONT LET YOU REBEAT AN EXAM AND AFTER YOU FINISH WITH THAT EXAM YOU CAN ONLY READ THE EXPLANATIONS. I THINK IT IS TOO MUCH TO PAY FOR SOMETHING YOU DONT HAVE CONTROL OF. PERSOANLLY DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON WOLRD'S QBANK AND STICK WITH KAPLAN'S.

thanks ination,
i was worried about so many people saying that kaplans does not simulate the real test well. so i was looking for something more similar. i guess kaplan is the best that is out there?

I disagree, and I strongly think usmleworld is new but they know exactly what to offer. The questions are excellent and the explanations and educational objectives make you learn a lot.
Besides , Kaplan is easier than the actual test.
I prepared from both sources for my exam, and if you plan well usmleworld is enough for the exam.
