Dearest forum
I just did the OASIS trick; I have passed. I took my examination on December 19, and the scores got reported on the 5th Wednesday. When I did the examination, I said to myself "I must pass this examination." I did! I will surely write more about my preparation, and experience when I get my scores.
I am an IMG from India. I will let you know when the scores arrive. God bless all!

i had the exam in the same day as you but oasis is still current as 16 jan when it will be updated

I took the exam on Dec 28th, and I just found out that I passed@@@@

A question for those who passed!
i took my exam yesterday,it was a mixture of everything.some part i did well,some i tried to do well and the rest i have no idea just guesses........how was it with everyone?cuz when u take your exam u have atleast some idea,plz share your ideas,regards.

Dear Friends,
Congratulation ! it is important that you have passed 1/3 of MLE exams ( if you consider the volume of the preparation materials it is 1/2 !). I took my exam on 27 Dec 2006 and my OASIS updated on 17 Jan 2007 too. I tried the trick and got the red message. I just wonder, do you know how long does it take that your score report reach a destination in Europe (SWEDEN)?

hi all....hey..please would someone explain me how to do oasis trick?..i just had exams before 1 week and think 2 weeks more to wait right??please explain me how to do oasis trick and how to interpret the data from there..and does someone from this forum remembers those questions that they missed or did stupid types of mistakes over and over again...i really feel very anxious...i did well(about 65%)in qbanks..but still feel that will i really can even pass?does someone else has same feeling after exam??plz let me know..thanks...and wish very good luck to you all...

Thanks onc07 I got my scores last Saturday. I am an IMG from India, so it took ten days to reach after the score was reported. I got 219/89. I am just fine with the score, though a bit disappointed. Honestly, I would have been happier had it touched 90. I had worked for it to be in the 90s.
e_vahid, it must reach you before ten days, as geographically you are nearer than us.
solitarius, do not worry. What has been done, has been done now. Just pray, and everything will be fine. I have been through the same stage; I know what it feels. It feels exactly the same. But have faith in the Almighty, and in your hard work. Here's wishing you all the best!

hey..thanks ankurkalra...thanks for good support..this forum is really worthy..i just didnt know about this before..but you are right...its done already...a nice heart and a good pray can only do better now.thats great..right now i m going to start preparing for step-2cs..do u know which preparation material is the best sourse and mirror of the actual exam if you know?do i need a study partner for that or not necessary?thanks..very good luck to you.

solitarius; do First Aid, and UW for Step 2 CS. I have my CS in March; will begin preparation this Friday, following my Visa interview this Thursday! Yes, a study partner is always a great idea for CSA, as I have learnt from this forum.

my oasis updt on 17 jan & i took exam on 18 dec, i wanna know how much it took to reach india,,really worried .when to call ecfmg,if i dont get score report??

hi ankurkalra..yup you are right..i've also asked so many IMGs..they also say the same..USMLE world and the FA is the best source for csa..but i dont have study partner available in my area or nearer...i've heard that you can do without one also..i will try to become myself a study partner and start doing FA first..how it sounds?plz reply..well my CSA exam will be in april..so its great..maybe i will know about your exam experience..plz tell me does it make any difference the location of the exam?where you're gonna attend your exam?i wish you very good luck for your preparation

The scores must have reached you by now if your OASIS was updated on January 17, 2007. Else, you will be receiving them any day! Regards!
solitarius, I think you can do CSA preparation without a study partner, but a study partner is always better. Even I do not have a study partner. Now that I have everything in place for CSA (I got my Visa Application accepted today), I am beginning study. So, we can discuss online! The centre DOES NOT make any difference, for sure! I have my examination in Philadelphia. Where are you from India? Regards!

hi ankurkalra...thanks again for your quick reply and congradulations for getting your visa..yup..of course we can discuss online everything regarding CSA..yes i am from india..but i've completed my medical school from russia in russsian language..but i think now after first step(if i will pass)then another exams should move faster bcz right now i am making english tracts in my mind replacing russian ones and please tell me from where you have completed your med school?today i will subscribe usmle world.would you plz reply me whether we can print the cases from there or not if you know ok?very good luck for your starting.bye and take care.
