how good r pretest series for review questions? plz anyobdy can tell whats the last year of their edition, i mean i would like to know if they r up to date. thanks

Hi,
I have 4 PreTests: Medicine, OBGYN, Pediatrics and Preventive Medicine. The first 3 of them are pretty good if you don't have any ohter source of questions. The last one I didn't read it.
The format of q are not quite like the ones in real exams, some of them are too short or have negative leads but other then that, some q (esp the clinical case ones) are very good. The good part for these book is that the explanations are detailed and with the citation of the source.

what year is the latest edition?
i have kaplan q bank n q book for review n i also have A&L step 2 review but the latter has many typo mistakes, n the pattern is not like on usmle but it has good facts to re-inforce in your brain.

Medicine Pretest 9th ed: August 15, 2000 (but I just checked now, they have the 10th edition available in August 2003)
OBGYN 9th ed: November 8, 2000, not yet a new edition
Pediatrics 9th ed: August 8, 2000, not yet a new edition
Preventive 9th ed: October 31, 2000, not yet a new edition
