I am planning to start a fellowship on July, I need to know how long does it take to get an ECFMG certificate, I am planning to take step 2 CK (last step) in June, do you think I have enough time or should I schedule it earlier ?
Do you think it's a realistic plan, I mean, are there any other time consuming requirements from the programs; like medical licensure etc ?

Start sooner - you will need ECFMG cert for licensing for any fellowship or residency in the USA

Hi bbb,
Thank you for your reply, what do you mean by earlier? my Step 1 is scheduled for february, CS for march which leave me with only 2 months to prepare for step 2 , knowing that I have a full time job.
