 I took a 20 question test, GOT 80%!!! Still my average just went up to 62%, but is better than nothing!

VERY EXCITED today. Seems like I finally got it. I have taken a total of 65 questions and I scored 71%. I am trying harder to focus in applying what I have learned from the explanations of past tests. So far, I have taken 735 questions of UW, Internal medicine only. Hope everybody in the forum is having a great study-day

1075 questions & answers so far. I have kept my scores above average (between 65 and 71%), but still my overall score is 62%. I have little less than 300 questions left on Internal medicine, and I hope to finish them before Friday.

1166 questions so far, the last 46 have been on Psychiatrics, and I have scored 81% average YEAH!!
My overall score is now 63% YEAH AGAIN!!

This morning I gave pediatrics a try. Took 30 questions, scored 66%. So far, 1291 questions, 63% average.

Less than a month away from the test!!!
Today I took a 45 question test, ob-gyn and peds, got 73%. I have taken 1436 questions, and I am gonna try to speed up, so I have the chance to retake the incorrect ones. Have a good study day everyone !

 I am praying that there are not a lot of surgery questions in my test. I am doing terrible, and changing answers very often. So far, getting 50's.

Happy and productive day so far. Took two 40 questions test, one for pediatrics, one for IM, got 80% and 70%. Getting better!

I got a letter from the ECFMG, and they finally verified my credentials . I have 300 questions left in UW, so I am gonna get busy!

I finished UW. My overall score was 63%, and now I will take tests wit incorrect questions only. I think I will spend most of my last 2 weeks hammering IM. While doing the questions I noticed a lot of improvement on ob/gyn, and Pediatrics was my best performance. Surgery was a disaster, but IM has the priority. I am so looking forward to get done with this test, and I hope all this months of efforts and endless boredom will pay off. HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE!

Today I repeated all the incorrect questions on Cardiology, and I did it twice in order to answer every single one correctly, which made me go over some explanations up to 3 times. I think that I can boost my potential score the most by using this system. I am just 13 days away from the test, and I want to deserve a 99!
It is so hard to study during a holiday weekend, but the thought of getting a 99 is a powerful motivation. Hope the positive thinking and faith in The Lord will take me distances. Best wishes to everyone!

Doc_clotaire, thanks for stopping by. I read you did great in UW, and I bet you will score very high. I will probably post my experience on the test before you take yours, so hopefully it will be useful for you (at least a little).

WOW, the stress is such a powerful fuel for the brain. I am reading at the speed of light and making mental notes, linking stuff together,...GOING CRAZY! In less than a week CK will be over.

I just came back from a long walk with my dog, to start the day with a little excercise.
I thought I would be more relaxed for Ck than for step 1, but turns out that I feel this huge pressure to get at least 92. I think many of us are the pride of our parents and spouses, and we not only want to succed for ourselves, but also for them.
I have gone over most of my incorrect questions in UW, and is working well for me. I am feeling confident, as well as anxious, but I already have an army of friends and relatives enlisted to pray for me on saturday morning. If anyone in the forum wanna join them, you are more than welcome!
