Hope you people ere doing great. Its of common knowledge that US clinical experience is almost indispensible. As you know I stand in a very small chance of getting that coveted experience due to visa woes. That's why I am thinking about appearing for GRE..... That way, I can come to US and find for myself all the pros and cons of individual residencies. I can get good LORs from the Head of the dept s from where I am doing my PG During the vacations I can get some Externship/Observership done, implying US CE If I succeed in acquiring OPT visa ( I am not very sure of this concept but, will definitely find out) I can even work in US after I finish my Masters. But I have some serious problems/ doubts Since I am interested in Paeds/ Hematology/ Neurology residency, which programme to choose from the gre offerings. As far as I have heard AGRE has only Biochem and molecular biology as medicine related subjects, but i will send you a link called gradschools which shows Neurology, Oncology, Human Pathology as some of the very few branches which make sense to us. So how to go about it?http://www.gradschools.com/biomed_health.html How to get into a good gradschool ? Obviously they mean a lot more than GRE and Toefl scores. Now whats that? How to plan my GRE, Before the steps or after? What can I do post Gre masters or A doctorate or both?
