Thank you guys!!!!

As I expected the first day was very similar to the CK... 7 blocks, 1hour per block, i got in and then leave with a blurred memory of what happened during the exam...grin I feel that I screwed big time, which is a good thing because I felt the same way with the other 2... but who knows?

Tons of management and ethical questions... and very tricky alternatives... let's hope the CSS be a piece of cake...

Take care... and thanks!!!

Hey Isther,........!Que tal ? . How was the second day ?.

  #10

Hi whiterabbit...

2nd day: Well, the first part was a small version of the first day grin 4 blocks of 36 q each... after >300 q from the day before, it was veeeeery easygoing... unfortunately, like the day before, I really don't know how I did.

The simulator part was very cool. I really enjoyed it. 9 straightforward cases, very easy to diagnose, and after practicing an organize stepwise method to approach each case, it was very easy... the time flew and I was back home before I noticed.

I know that I passed, I just feel it, I expect a lame scoreTHOUGH, but you know I COULDN'T CARE LESS... USMLE is completerly over for me....OOOOOOO YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! So the only thing left is to wait for the report and I'll let you know...Thanks againg for wishes.

Take care gringringrin

hI Isther

I have a question for you

when you did your ccs csaes. did the box "you have 5min remaining " pop out before scheduled time

some say when the box pops out before time. it means that you have done the case very well

is that true

thanks

Hi neuropsych, I can't give details about the cases, but I'll tell you that the cases were VERY easy to diagnose... actually the cases are so easy that that is not the problem, the thing is to remember all the steps in management and in an adequate order... It is like the CS, you'll need tons of practice to do it fine.

mertyna, yes... the box appeared more than one time before the time ran out... according to the CSS tutorial it could be because you have fullfilled all goals for that case... so the case is over for you

Hi Isther
if the box does not apear earlier before time run out . Does it mean that that case is not well done

thanks

Good luck Isther!. You're a great inspiration in this forum smiling face, you'll do it great, like your other steps.

Hello Chemamr... from you that words REALLY mean a lot!!! Forum Hero and now Moderator.nod Good luck to you too my friend.

Mertyna, not necessarily... I recomend you read the CSS tutorial on your USMLE CD, there is a part that explains very clearly the time issue... All the best..gringringrin

Muy bien amigo!!! I'm still waiting for the CS result, but with a positive vibe. I'm also planning to start on my S3 prep... any suggestions on the material to use?

Buena suerte y disfruta de tus vacaciones!!!
