treat him and report abuse is the correct response. i am sorry i did not provide that option.IT IS MANDATORY TO REPORT the elderly abuse. along with child abuse. (child abuse can be physical , sexual and neglect)however , spousal abuse is not reportable. they can be counselled about the availability of the support.
